NEWS

The Planning Programme adopted by Council on November 15, 2010 came into force on March 1st, 2011. In the last few months, the following planning by-laws were adopted and came into force in accordance with the Planning Programme:

  • Permits and Certificate By-Law PC-2788
  • Subdivision By-Law PC-2774
  • Zoning By-Law PC-2775
  • Construction By-Law PC-2786
  • SPAIP By-Law PC-2787
  • Conditional Use By-Law PC-2791

The above by-laws can be consulted by selecting the appropriate title in the list of planning regulations.

The Interim Control By-Law is no more in force since May 30, 2011.

Planning to renovate, extend or build? Please verify if your renovation project is subject to the By-Law on Site Planning and Architectural Integration Programmes (SPAIP By-Law) .

Residential cabanas (sheds) - Reminder: Prior to the construction or the installation of a cabana, a building permit application should be made to ensure compliance to the municipal zoning and construction regulations (minimum setbacks, maximum height and floor area, type of foundations, etc.). Even thought a building permit is not required for a cabana with an area of 12 square meters or less without a permanent foundation, the municipal regulations must still be respected. Please consult the applicable regulations
