The Parks and Horticultural Division takes an active part in the embellishment of the City. Its activities include:
Floriculture. This includes the installation of more than 106 flower beds and 250 containers, representing a surface of 2033 m2, as well as their embellishment in the different phases of plantation (spring bulbs, annual and autumnal flowers).
Maintenance of horticulture in all the parks and municipal properties is done using environmentally friendly methods.

Horticutural Informations
Regulation of fertilizers
Regulation #2683 defines the specifications for the use of fertilizers. To summarize briefly, the by-law states that any surface requiring more than 30 m2 of application must be treated according to specific constraints such as the temperature, wind velocity, proximity to water and ditches. It is also mandatory to post signs warning that a fertilizer has been applied.
