    Regulation of fertilizers

Regulation #2683 defines the specifications for the use of fertilizers. To summarize briefly, the by-law states that any surface requiring more than 30 m2 of application must be treated according to specific constraints such as the temperature, wind velocity, proximity to water and ditches. It is also mandatory to post signs warning that a fertilizer has been applied.

For more information on this regulation, please feel free to call the Parks and Horticultural Division of the Public Works Department at (514) 630-1241.
