ADULT SECTION - Reading and Reference Room

Business Hours:
Monday – Friday: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
Wednesday evening: 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (closed June, July and August)
Sunday: 1:00-5:00 p.m.  

The Reading and Reference Room also houses the Art Rental & Sales Service and the Boutique.

Come and see our impressive collection of original artworks available for rent or for sale. The Boutique offers a large selection of unique gift items made by Canadian artists.

We invite you to drop by and enjoy all that the Reading and Reference Room as to offer. 

Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as you listen to a wide assortment of CD's, from both emerging and well-established artists. Internet access is available to the public as well.

Closed on Saturdays in June, July and August.


Call for donations

Do you have art books, music, photography, craft, architecture and heritage publications collecting dust on your shelves … we will gladly accept both English and French donations for our Reading and Reference Room.  Your books will be made available to the public and put to good use.

If the books we receive cannot be added to our collection (novels, crime stories, etc.) or if we receive too many on the same subject, your books will not be wasted!  With your permission, they will be put on sale:

We are always looking for volunteers who share a passion for art, music, and literature to help us develop the Reading and Reference Room.


ACTIVITIES FOR ADULTS

Passes are required for some events.
They become available 2 weeks prior to the performance
and are limited to 4 per person.
They are valid until 10 minutes before the performance.
Anyone who arrives later cannot be garanteed a place.
