Sunday Rendez-vous Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m., at the
Stewart Hall Cultural Centre
176 chemin Bord-du-Lac -- Lakeshore, Pointe-Claire.

Passes are required and are available only 2 weeks prior to the performance.  They remain valid until ten minutes before the performance.  Should you arrive later, we cannot guarantee that you will have a seat.  Limit of 4 passes per person.

For additional information, please call the Cultural centre, Stewart Hall at 514 630-1220.
Priority is given to children when performances are meant for them.

Hima is a tiny woman, not very tall at all, who was born on a snowy day.  Fascinated by the silver crystals falling from the sky, she embarks on a voyage to the land of ice, a world full of people also born on a snowy day.

Both excellent pianists, they fell in love during their doctoral studies in Rochester, New York.  A beautiful musical love story! 

Featuring works by Poulenc, Ravel, Barber and Brahms.

Max and his friends are late for their concert.  To save some time, they take a shortcut through the forest inhabited by a family of … vegetarian ogres! 
An unexpected encounter takes place thanks to the storytelling talents of the puppeteer and to the bright and original music of the wind instruments.  Do you think that a clarinettist is better than a mushroom?  This event has received the financial support of the Conseil des Arts de Montréal en tournée.

Created in 2007 and made up of virtuoso musicians, Advaar is dedicated to the interpretation of the Persian and Mediterranean musical heritage as well as composition and improvisation based on the hauntingly beautiful Persian classical and traditional repertoires.

Created in 2006, La Cigale is an early music ensemble dedicated to Celtic music of the Baroque era.  This easy-going, pleasant concert brings together three musicians --lute, flute and voice -- well known for their uncanny ability to connect with audiences.

Bathyscaphe is an ensemble created in 2001 by trumpeter Ivanhoe Jolicoeur who is very active on the Quebec jazz and pop scene.  Their music flows ever so smoothly, with emphasis on the brasses blended together with harmonious rhythmic accents.

Performance in French for 4 to 9 year olds.  Don Gato leaves his back alley with his friend the dog to explore the world, especially the world of cats.  Through a collection of stories about cats, children will discover several cultures:  the little Russian kitten who thinks he is a hare, the African cat who encounters… a hyena, the kitten from Asia who is looking for a new name!  A beautiful way to travel.

THE TEMPEST

Puppet show in English, 6 – 10 years. 
Bring mom to see Shakespeare and we will spoil her!
On this Mothers Day, children 6 to 10 years old attending this performance The Tempest will have the opportunity to spoil their mom. 
Expect: a picture with mom, expressions of love and other surprises… Plus, a draw will take place among the moms in attendance!
This performance is a lovely adaptation of the Shakespeare’s magical masterpiece.  Prospero lives on an enchanted island.  He uses his magic powers to create a storm, cause a shipwreck, and play dirty tricks on his enemies… until he learns the power of love and forgiveness.  Fairies, monsters, romanticism, colourful puppets and superb music… What more could anyone want?

Classical concert.  A very talented and versatile guitarist, Cary Savage has been interpreting several musical styles for many years all over the United States and Canada.  He has earned a doctorate in guitar performance from Université de Montreal, under the direction of Peter McCutcheon.

SON TRES DE CUBA

World Music.  Created in 2007, Son Tres de Cuba presents Cuban music in all its forms:  guaracha, bolero, salsa, traditional music... Their vocal arrangements generate lively harmonics, reminiscent of the good old days of «son cubana».
