As part of the Gallery’s educational mandate, guided tours of the exhibitions are offered throughout the year free of charge. Designed by qualified guides and intended to demystify art and encourage dialogue, these tours inform visitors about the exhibitions' themes, artists and the various techniques explored, situating the artworks in their larger context.
Tours are carefully adapted to suit each group’s specific age and needs, from preschoolers to seniors - we welcome visitors of all ages. In addition, an interactive art activity program for preschool and elementary students provides the opportunity to create their own art works inspired by the exhibition using a variety of materials. Through these initiatives, students and visitors are encouraged to find pleasure and meaning in art, have a better understanding of the creative process and to think critically about their visual environment.
