Over the past forty summers, the Pointe-Claire Parks Program has been bringing summer fun, excitement and lifelong friendships into the lives of Pointe-Claire children. This program, offered free of charge by the City of Pointe-Claire, will be very busy again this summer with animated activities offered at Cedar Park Heights, Hermitage, Kinsmen, Northview and Valois Parks geared towards children aged from 6 to 16.
Arts and crafts, inter-park challenges, track and field and trips to Le Sablon and La Ronde are just some of the activities and events planned for this season.
The program runs from Monday, June 25 to Friday, August 17 and the park leaders working hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon (Monday to Friday) and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday to Thursday). Evening activities will also be offered periodically throughout the summer.
To take part in any or all of our planned activities, we ask that children register with the leaders at their local park as soon as the program begins. Children are not obliged to spend the entire day at the park; they may come and go as they please. Parental involvement is always welcome and appreciated at any time.
The Parks Program staff would like to wish all of you an enjoyable summer and we look forward to meeting you and your family at your neighbourhood park.
