TEMPORARY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES

Zoning By-Law PC-2775, Article 4.3

Article 4.3 Temporary Buildings and Structures

a) Temporary carports and any temporary shelters and canopies made of plastic are prohibited throughout the area within the municipal limits of the City of Pointe-Claire.

b) The only temporary buildings permitted are those needed for an accessory seasonal activity and for construction sites; they shall not be used for purposes of housing and they shall be removed within 30 days following completion of the construction work, or within 5 days following the cessation of the seasonal activity.

c) In industrial zones only, temporary structures are permitted to enclose or shelter operational mechanical equipment between October 15 and April 15 of each year.
